Werregue is a palm, that grows in the pacific of Colombia , the indigenous used in the past to make boats and other domestic utensils , the desings in he crafts are part of their experiences in life , they use natural painting like Achiote better knowm as Annnato to get the orange color, Puchicama leaf for green, Saffron for yellow and Puchicama leaf mixed with mud for black, the wounan are mainly in Choco state where there is a large Afrodescendant population so it belived tha this kind of art has an African origin.
