Abanico Earrings

Description

In prehispanic Colombia , the nose ring was one of the most common ornaments with a great variety of styles. While some created the effect of raising the nose to resemble a nasal bat wing, others turned it into a golden snout. Most mimicked various distinctive features of one or another animal.

These earrings are inspired by the nose rings of the indigenous in Colombia, they weremade with beads and nickel free metal.
